'Portals' is an ongoing collection of quaint doors, passages and landscapes across Senegal. This series explores the interaction of nature with architecture and offers appreciation for the ways in which people adorn their everyday paths. The play on earth tones and shadows against other vibrant hues found in nature highlights the significance of color and the auras exuded in our experience of entering and exiting different atmospheres.
